Chris Kapoi started Handy-1 Handyman Service in 2002 with the urging and encouragement of many of his friends, family members and neighbors that sought out his talents to help repair their homes.

Handy-1 Handyman Service was created in January 2002 to fill a need. A need for a quality, reliable home repair service in Honolulu. With the urging and encouragement of our friends, family and neighbors whom called upon us to help with their home repair projects, Handy-1 Handyman Service was born.
We are usually called on to perform repairs generally too small for a general contractor to deal with, but larger than the average home owner is willing to take on. We are not contractors and by Hawaii State law, have limitations on the size and types of projects that can be taken. Handy-1 will accept handyman projects of a $1000.00 or less.
Handy-1 Handyman Service is a registered company with a State of Hawaii General Excise Tax License and General Liability Insurance
